Jason Scuilla is an artist and printmaker raised in Sarasota, Florida. His prints and drawings have been shown throughout the United States, and internationally in Rome, Italy.
Scuilla spends considerable time in Rome, Italy studying and creating artwork. Ancient Etruscan pottery, Byzantine mosaics, and frescoes of the Medieval and Renaissance continue to have a profound effect on his artwork.
Scuilla currently serves as Area Coordinator of the Printmaking Department at Kansas State University. His studies in printmaking include instruction under Robert Rivers, Dan Dallmann, Richard Hricko, John Dowell, and Mario Teleri Biason. Scuilla earned his MFA Degree in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art in 2005. He received his BFA Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2003.
